It’s not right to be strict with little children
One of the main arguments against being strict with little children is that it can have negative effects on their emotional and psychological development. Children who are exposed to harsh discipline and punishment may develop feelings of fear, anxiety, and low self-esteem, which can negatively impact their future relationships and mental health. In addition, strict discipline can also lead to a breakdown in the parent-child relationship, as children may come to view their parents as authoritarian figures rather than loving caregivers.
Another argument against strict discipline is that it can be counter-productive in terms of teaching children right from wrong. Children who are constantly punished and criticized may feel that they can never please their parents, and this can lead to a sense of hopelessness and resignation.
